Dear Mr Riaz

I hope it will not be rude of me to "type" a message rather than writing one.. it is only that the card would not be big enough. When we first met you, you said that Amelia had her life ahead of her and that it was important this life was to be a good life. YOU have truly transformed Amelia's life. For the last twenty years, Amelia has "put up" with her nose, always knowing that this nose was, in her eyes at least, not the norm. Last Friday, Amelia went out with some friends and one of her friends took a photo of her. When I saw Amelia later on that day, she said "you know mum, for the first time ever, someone took a photo of me and I didn't need to think about which side I should turn so that my nose wasn't "in the way"!. What a heartbreaking statement to hear. Yet, THANKS TO YOUR AMAZING SKILLS and TALENTS, our Amelia is so, so looking forward to living her life to the full now. When we met you, we spoke with you and Sarah about the difference such operation would make in Amelia's life but truthfully, I had not anticipated how the extent of this difference would positively impact on ALL OUR lives. Today, Amelia is just so, so happy. She smiles all the time, she feels much more apt at looking at people in the eyes rather than feeling they were looking at her nose... we never saw her nose as an issue but for her it really had become one. I believe that the cruelty of some people around her and the comments they made in the past certainly didn't help improve her confidence in that respect. But YOU have done precisely that. As a mum, I cannot even find the words to describe how Happy I am to see our daughter so, so Happy. It must be simply wonderful to be YOU and to witness how much change you can bring in peoples' life. Sarah, very kindly, gave us the details of the Charity you support and, rather than buying something we didn't know would please you, Sarah suggested, very wisely, to make a donation to your Charity, which we have done. It is only a little something but I shall follow, from now on, your work and will continue donating to support the wonderful, wonderful work you do. Thank you VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH. These words will never ever be big enough to show you our gratitude for we feel simply blessed to have had the amazing chance to meet you.
